- Create a new account and apply for benefits online. You can also apply by mail or in person at a Division of Welfare and Support Services (DWSS) office. Click here to find a DWSS office near you.

- Create an account.
- Fill out an online application. This process takes about 45 minutes to complete.
- Follow the instructions and complete ALL areas that apply to you and your family.
- On the last page of the application, you can choose UnitedHealthcare to manage your benefits. If you don't choose, you will be randomly assigned to a managed care organization (MCO).
- Once you’ve reached the end of the application, click Submit.
- Check the status of your benefits online at dwss.nv.gov.
