Community Reinvestment Activities

Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid – Community Reinvestment Activities for Plan Year 2026

For 29 years, Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid (HPN) has proudly served Medicaid recipients across Southern and Northern Nevada. Our mission extends beyond providing health coverage—we are dedicated to improving health outcomes and strengthening the communities we serve.

To date, HPN has reinvested over $18 million into Nevada communities, supporting programs and partnerships that make a meaningful impact. In 2026, we will continue this commitment by reinvesting to advance state goals, population health strategies, and quality priorities. Through strategic partnerships, we aim to create lasting change by addressing critical health needs and social drivers of health.

Our Commitment

HPN is dedicated to supporting organizations that make a measurable difference in the health and well-being of our members and communities. Our community investment partnerships focus on programs and sponsorships that:

  • Increase access to care
  • Improve maternal and child health
  • Advance health equity
  • Address behavioral health and substance use disorders
  • Support justice-involved individuals
  • Provide housing assistance
  • Tackle other social determinants of health (SDOH)

How We Prioritize Investments

Each year, HPN identifies reinvestment priorities by analyzing:

  • Community needs and socioeconomic data
  • SDOH referrals and health equity disparities
  • Proposals from community-based organizations

Our goal is to establish and nurture long-term partnerships that align with:

  • HPN’s core values
  • Medicaid Reinvestment Advisory Committee (MRAC) priorities
  • Nevada’s health improvement strategies

Together, we can help people live healthier lives and build stronger communities.
