Did your Medicaid plan change on January 1?

If you changed your Medicaid plan during open enrollment or Nevada Medicaid changed your plan, we have good news.

Now through March 31, you can switch back to (or switch to) Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid. Find out if you’re eligible.

You may be eligible if:

  • You live in Urban Clark County¹ AND
  • You changed your Medicaid plan during open enrollment (October 1, 2025 to December 26, 2025) OR
  • Nevada Medicaid changed your Medicaid plan effective on January 1, 2026

Switch back to (or switch to) Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid by email, mail or phone. Per Nevada Medicaid, switch requests must be received by March 31.

    Send an email to Nevada Medicaid.

    You must have email capability to use this email template. The email will be sent from the email account associated with the mobile device or computer.

    Nevada Medicaid needs the following information to process your change: your name, names of all members in your household you want to switch to Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid, your Medicaid ID number, your address and your phone number. You can also email Nevada Medicaid at nvmmis.mco@gainwelltechnologies.com.
